Adolescent Substance Use Disorder Services

Judgement-Free Help

There are many reasons adolescents choose to experiment with substances including the desire for new experiences, an attempt to deal with problems or perform better in school, and simple peer pressure. Adolescents are “biologically wired” to seek new experiences and take risks, as well as to carve out their own identity.

The brain continues to develop through early adulthood making teenage years a critical window of vulnerability to substance use disorders. Prairie Ridge provides a safe, supportive, and judgement free space for adolescents to navigate through the process of healing and recovery.
