Dr. Jorgensen received her undergraduate degree at Wartburg College in Waverly, IA and completed both medical school and psychiatry residency at the University of Iowa, where she served as a chief resident. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is the psychiatrist for the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team and RENEW first episode psychosis team. Dr. Jorgensen is also Director of the Public and Rural Psychiatry track at the University of Iowa. She is passionate about improving care and access for patients in rural Iowa.
