The Full Day Intensive Outpatient Program is held in conjunction with our residential treatment program. The typical format for Full Day IOP patients involves participation in programming with the residential patients and occurs between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Programming will include a combination of individual and group services. Based on the need of the patient, the number of therapeutic hours a patient participates in will range from 20 to 35 hours per week. Participants also have the option of attending on the weekends or in the evenings if they find the need additional support during these hours. The IOP program averages 15 days of service. Admission into the IOP program is limited and dependent on space available.
Partial Day Intensive Outpatient Therapy runs three days a week from 9:00am-12:00pm and focuses on three treatment models, the Matrix Model, the DBT Model, and the ABT Model. Matrix Model: This model focuses on two specific skill sets: Early Recovery Skills and Relapse Prevention Skills. DBT Model: This model is a highly focused outpatient skills group which provides training in areas of interpersonal effectiveness, mindfulness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. ABT Model: This model is the therapeutic use of art making. Through creating art and reflecting on the art products and processes, people can increase awareness of self and others, cope with symptoms, stress, and traumatic experiences; enhance cognitive abilities; and enjoy the life-affirming pleasures of making art.
These groups are gender specific and provide the opportunity to build a community of support with peers.
Our outpatient therapy team is ready to help our patients take the next step in reestablishing their life.
