At the time of initial evaluation, the cost of our services will be explained to you.  Some patients may be eligible for a sliding fee schedule.  It is our expectation that assigned fees are paid at the time of services.  We also will consider payment plans and bill you accordingly.  Patients have the right to services regardless of the ability to pay.

Prairie Ridge offers a comprehensive program designed to specifically address the needs of women with substance use concerns. The program is designed to benefit women and their children. Prairie Ridge recognizes that substance use disorders can complicate and exacerbate other problems such as family problems, lack of economic self-sufficiency, physical and sexual abused, domestic violence.  Addressing these issues can help women recover and prevent relapse. The goals for the Women Program is to interrupt the process of addiction, reduce barrier to treatment, re-establish healthy family relationships, improve physical health, understand nutrition, and learn to use community resources to benefit the family.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Prairie Ridge offers a 28 day, high intensity, gender specific residential program. We specialize in serving co-occurring patients through the use of the evidenced based curriculum of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.  Our integrated program has been developed to fit the needs of all of the patients we serve. Our patients have access to primary and psychiatric healthcare providers while involved in our services.   Our environment is patient centered and feedback informed.   We  utilize evidenced based  feedback  tools  to  ensure  our  patients  are  receiving  the  best  care  possible.   Our integrated approach helps us reach the needs of those we serve and their families

SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS

Mealtimes are developed with the approval and supervision of a licensed dietician. Meals are planned and prepared by qualified cooks, along with patient assistance, in-house. We will do our best to accommodate special dietary needs; however, it is important that these needs be clearly communicated prior to a patient’s admission to services so we can adequately assess whether these needs can be met within our system. We ask that family members NOT bring in special foods.

PASS PROGRAM

After patients have completed 21 FULL days of programming, they are eligible for one 8-hour pass or two 4- hour passes off campus. This time can be spent with family or friends if the patient so chooses.

VISITATION

Visitation times are the same- Saturday and Sunday from 2-5

Please DO NOT bring in the following: Cell phones, cameras, food or beverages, non-prescription medications, or tobacco.

Prairie Ridge is a tobacco free agency. Use of tobacco products is prohibited on Prairie Ridge property.

TELEPHONE/COMPUTER/TECHNOLOGY TIME

We welcome your phone calls. Phone use is limited to 10 minutes each session to allow all of our patients time to talk with family and friends.

Please respect these times and do NOT attempt to call during other times in the day. Patients are very busy with treatment programming and additional phone calls take them away from these experiences. If you have an emergency and need to get a hold of someone quickly during other times, please call the CA Staff Desk at (641) 423-0431. This number is answered 24 hours per day.
